Island

The Island Collection follows the Nordic Collection taking inspiration from a journey to and around Iceland. While the Nordic Collection celebrated traditional Nordic textiles and colors, the Island Collection was inspired by Iceland’s vast and stunning landscapes and vistas. From the renowned and astonishing Aurora Borealis seen in its winter skies, to the variegated tones in the mountains and meadows, to the smallest scale mosses growing on stones in lava fields, Iceland offers an array of rich and muted colors created by nature itself.

Aptly named, Landscape is a chenille and wool stripe with large bands of undulating color. These stripes vary due to the special nature of the yarn and are just as unique as the strata of the earth. Northern Lights, a bleach cleanable all-over pattern, was created with the Aurora Borealis in mind. It is woven with three different yarns to achieve a surface with depth and variety and is available in five colorways. Engineered for high performance, Mossy is durable and also bleach cleanable. A two-tone chenille texture, it is reminiscent of lichen-covered boulders on Iceland’s rocky beaches.
